Hiag, Prosper

Prosper Hiag is a Doctor in Pharmacy, a graduate from the University of Paul Sabatier (Toulouse III) in France. He totalizes more than 42 years of experiences in the pharmacy profession where he served in many parts of the world. During his pharmaceutical career, he had work in Community pharmacy, Supply chain and logistic and in pharmaceutical industry.Prosper is an international pharmaceutical consultant, a social entrepreneur, a promoter of a pharmaceutical distribution company and also a local pharmaceutical production industry. He is also a defender of access to quality medicines for all and a fervent campaigner for Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

Dr. Prosper Hiag also holds the positions of Vice-President of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), why being the FIP bureau Liaison officer to the African Pharmaceutical Forum (APF), after having held the position of President of APF for more than 4 years. He is a member of the QUAMED (QUALITY MEDICINE FOR ALL) and member of ARSO (African Organization for Standardization). He has contributed significantly to actions aimed at promoting global health and vaccination coverage on a large scale, particularly in the fight against poliomyelitis, malaria, COVID-19 etc. Mr. Hiag is therefore a resource person for public health strategies and the development of the pharmaceutical sector.
