Ms. Daniela Quaggia is a Senior Project Manager at the Active Citizenship Network (ACN), a European civic organization that promotes the involvement of citizens in public policy and strengthens the protection of rights in the fields of health, sustainability, and civic participation. Based in Italy, she is responsible for the design, coordination, and implementation of multi-stakeholder projects at the national and EU level.

With a background in political science and public affairs, Ms. Quaggia has extensive experience in managing initiatives focused on patients’ rights, access to healthcare, vaccination policies, and chronic disease advocacy. At ACN, she has contributed to numerous European campaigns aimed at improving health literacy, promoting the rights of patients with rare and chronic conditions, and facilitating dialogue between citizens, institutions, and healthcare providers.

She plays a central role in the development of ACN’s policy and advocacy strategies, supporting the organization’s participation in European health policy platforms and networks. Ms. Quaggia also oversees stakeholder engagement activities, building partnerships with patient associations, professional societies, and EU institutions.

In addition to her project management responsibilities, she is involved in organizing public consultations, conferences, and awareness campaigns that focus on strengthening the role of civil society in health-related decision-making. Her work supports ACN’s mission to enhance democratic participation and advance a more inclusive and responsive European health system.

Ms. Quaggia continues to contribute to cross-border projects that elevate patient voices and support the integration of citizen perspectives into public health and policy frameworks.
